We assess existing code, workflows, users, data and integrations to identify worthwhile improvements. Older software often holds valuable business rules; understanding those rules helps preserve what people rely on while addressing the parts that create problems.

Legacy PHP applications and outdated frameworks can be assessed for maintainability, compatibility and security. A working system does not automatically need rebuilding from scratch, and a new interface does not by itself resolve the underlying risks.

Reliable applications depend on records that mean what users expect. We plan database design, relationships, validation and access around the business information, including MySQL, PostgreSQL or another suitable data store.

Database migrations and data processing need agreed mapping, reconciliation and testing. We consider retained history, duplicate records, exports and the cutover process before moving information into a revised schema or application.

Gradual redevelopment can preserve useful functionality while replacing the parts that create the greatest maintenance burden. We define boundaries and test existing behaviour so new work does not silently change established rules.

Where full replacement is justified, the plan covers data migration, third-party integrations, user transition and rollback. PHP upgrades and security patching can form an earlier stage where immediate compatibility work is needed.
