We investigate the symptoms, assess immediate risks and check the available hosting access and backups. Where compromise is suspected, we consider containment and preservation of useful evidence while establishing the recovery options.

The assessment explains the likely problem, what recovery work we can attempt and whether another provider or specialist needs to be involved. Do not send passwords or sensitive records through the enquiry form; we agree secure access arrangements separately.

Before recovery work begins, we agree the scope, costs, limitations and testing with you. Work may include restoring a suitable backup, repairing application or database faults, investigating malware, removing identified malicious changes and addressing vulnerabilities that contributed to the incident.

We test the recovered customer journeys and discuss post-incident hardening, application patching, account access, server configuration and Cloudflare controls where appropriate. Backup condition and completeness affect recovery options; restoring a site alone does not establish that the original weakness has been addressed.

We investigate suspected compromise within the agreed scope and explain the findings and remaining uncertainties. Recovery cannot be guaranteed, nor can complete malware removal, a complete forensic investigation or identification of every instance of data theft. Specialist incident response or digital forensics may be required, particularly where evidence preservation or the extent of access is critical.

We explain findings and unresolved risks so you can decide the next steps. Recovery work does not replace your incident management or reporting responsibilities. Ongoing security maintenance, monitoring and recovery arrangements can be agreed separately after the immediate work.
