We plan how to copy and validate data, check application configuration and test the workflows that matter to customers and staff. A database migration may require compatibility work, record mapping and reconciliation rather than a direct import.
For active systems we agree how new orders, submissions or file changes will be handled around the cutover. Testing includes internal links, logins, email, integrations and any existing redirects that need to remain.
A planned cutover and a clear rollback route.
The release plan records who changes DNS, how the destination is verified and what conditions would cause a rollback. Backup availability, recovery options and responsibilities are agreed for the particular service.
We also assess failed migrations and application relocation problems. Where a site is already unavailable or compromised, start with an urgent technical assessment so the immediate risks can be considered before another move.

After the agreed checks we document the resulting hosting and DNS arrangements and any follow-up work. Mailbox moves, third-party provider access and retained data are included where agreed, with ownership made clear.
